3 - 4 May 2008 - Labor Day long weekend

Release for 2008
“Big Boys Toys”
Come and play in our sandpit! Everyone is invited to bring their
antique earthmovers, anything that will dig, push, carry or roll
earth from scoops, excavators, scrapers, dozers, tip trucks to rollers
including horse drawn. If you haven’t got any of the toys,
come and see someone else playing with theirs!

Many exhibitors are planning to bring a variety of antique earthmoving
equipment, that will be used on a number of projects around the
60 ha site which will keep the participants busily enjoying themselves
with both large and small equipment, and spectators fascinated with
what these old machines can do.
A tractor pull sled will be operating with prizes for different
categories donated by a sponsor. A ploughing competition will be
conducted with prizes also generously donated by a sponsor.

A trophy will be awarded to the best presented machine.
Steam power will also be in action with road making machinery while
horse drawn equipment will also be demonstrated.

A Vintage and Veteran Truck Show will also be held, with vehicles
from the Woolshed’s own collection and outside exhibitors
as well.
Jondaryan Woolshed’s famous Billy tea and damper will be
available along with plenty of other refreshments. Caravan and campsites
can be booked through the Woolshed office.

There may also be a Light Horse competition at the Jondaryan Woolshed
happening that weekend as well.
