Education: School Programs: Stay Visits
Overview
The Museum experience provides an ideal opportunity for cross-
curricula projects between subjects and 'Rich Tasks' as a model
learning experience through repeat visits or Stay Trips.
Students work cooperatively to achieve a sense of accomplishment in real
work.
Students can camp in the Jondaryan Woolshed grounds and explore the
surrounding area.
Stay trips can also be used to give city kids a rural experience were they
will meet new friends and learn new skills during vacation times.
(Available for students Yrs 6-12).
RICH TASKS can be explored in a focused and holistic way. Rich Tasks with packed ready-to-go activities for the
P-10 classroom adopt a multi-disciplinary design to
stretch across the curriculum to include elements of
the key learning areas. (KLAs)
