Jondaryan Woolshed Association Inc.
The Jondaryan Woolshed seeks your support
The Jondaryan Woolshed is owned and managed by the Jondaryan Shire
Council on behalf of the community. It was under the management
of the Jondaryan Woolshed Historical Museum and Park Association
for over 26 years, until October 2002, when due to a financial crisis,
Council acquired the assets with assistance from the Queensland
and Federal Governments.
Council fully realises that the full support of the community,
as volunteers and visitors, is essential for the continuation of
the Jondaryan Woolshed as a viable reminder of our heritage.
To this end the Jondaryan Woolshed Association Inc was formed as
a support group to continue the work begun by the former organisation.
The role of the Association is to:
- Advise the Council in its operations of the Jondaryan Woolshed.
- Liaise between the Volunteers and Supporters of the Jondaryan
Woolshed and Council.
- Assist Council in the running of events at the Jondaryan Woolshed.
- Fundraise for the Jondaryan Woolshed.
- Provide volunteer workers to support daily operations and events.
Your membership of the Association will assist in ensuring the
long-term preservation of this important peice of our history.
Your membership will also open the door to you becoming a volunteer
to assist in whatever capacity you wish to or are capable of.
Your membership will link you with a network of like-minded people,
where great friendships can be forged.
