Crowds gathered at the Jondaryan Woolshed on New Year’s Eve as the iconic, Darling Downs venue entered the new decade.
Jondaryan Woolshed General Manager, Rebecca Pope said more than 340 put on their dancing shoes for the annual Buffet Dinner and Bush Dance, including 100 campers.
“2020 will mark the Woolshed’s 161st year in the history books, a milestone we are immensely proud of,” said Ms Pope.
Guests were treated to a uniquely Aussie experience, dancing in the New Year on the slatted floor of one of Australia’s oldest and largest woolsheds.
“A warm thank you to the Ridgee Didge Bush Band and DJ Veetone for entertaining the crowd and inspiring everyone to dance up a storm,” said Ms Pope.
“The Jondaryan Woolshed will be hosting a calendar of family-friendly events in 2020 and we invite the wider community to join us in celebrating and learning more about one of our region’s prized, historical assets,” said Ms Pope.
