Popular heritage venue, the Jondaryan Woolshed is offering families affordable fun these holidays with the return of their School Holiday Activity Program.
Jondaryan Woolshed General Manager, Rebecca Pope says that for the cost of a gold coin the inclusive program offers families good, old-fashioned, Aussie fun.
“Kicking off on Monday the 16th of December, the program will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm across five days and includes a rotating calendar of interactive activities,” said Ms Pope.
From arts and crafts to damper making classes, mini train rides, guided tours, an animal nursery and access to the historical museum, the program offers good value for money.
“Our damper making classes will be back and for $5.00 per person, all ages can learn the art of making this traditional, Aussie dish, and feast on their fruits of their labour afterwards.”
“Volunteers from the Jondaryan Model Engineers and Live Steamers Inc will be joining us again, offering mini train rides for $2.00 each on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.”
Making a debut on the program in December will be side show activities. Priced at only $1.00 per ticket, token prizes will be on offer to all participating children.
“Visiting families can enjoy an affordable bite to eat at our Damper Hut, which will be offering a special school holiday menu, including lunch options, cold drinks and ice blocks.”
Entry during the program for all children under 15 years, as-well-as local residents who live within 100km will be a gold coin.
The program will run from the 16th to the 20th of December 2019. Activities vary daily. Full details are available on the Jondaryan Woolshed Facebook page and website, or by calling.
