“We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our festival food and activities – everything from greeting visitors to supervising our animal nursery and games, making and serving food and supporting on-the-ground clean up and operations,” she added.
The Spring Heritage Festival will be running at the end of the second week of the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, commencing on Friday, 27thand running until Monday, 30thSeptember.
“As caretakers of one of Australia’s oldest Woolsheds and an iconic historical museum, we place a high value on showcasing the rich history of the Darling Downs. In order to hold events, like the Spring Heritage Festival, and inspire future generations, we need to grow our family of dedicated volunteers,” said Ms Pope.
