The local nightlife scene has returned to the historic Jondaryan Woolshed following the launch of their new event program at the beginning of this year.
Jondaryan Woolshed General Manager, Rebecca Pope says the community response to attend evening activities has been great, with all four events so far attracting good crowds.
“This year, we have hosted two movie nights, a Valentine’s Day dinner and a Friday Night Drinks event, and altogether we have welcomed more than 200 people through the doors,” said Ms Pope.
“Positive feedback from visitors continues to flow in, all highlighting how pleased the community is to see evening events back on the Woolshed event program,” she added.
Offering good old-fashioned food and entertainment the iconic Darling Downs destination is proving to be a hit venue with local families. Their Movie Night Under the Starsevents have been growing in popularity with the March event moving to a Saturday night to accommodate the eager crowd.
“Following a record-breaking, 250 votes on our Facebook page, next month we will be screening the classic Aussie movie, The Man From Snowy River,” said Ms Pope.
The March instalment of the movie night will be held on Saturday the 23rdfrom 6:30pm with tickets only $10 per adult and $5 per child. Food will be available for purchase
“Next Friday, 8thof March we are hosting a buffet dinner with live music. Tickets are $25 per person with children under 15 years just $15 each,” said Ms Pope
The family-friendly event kicks off at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm dinner service and includes a hot and cold, two course buffet; drinks for purchase from the licenced bar and the vocal stylings of local entertainer, Kieran Lillis.
